Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of tastytech.com, operated by AK Internet Consulting, Inc. (“we,” “us”), Clarksville, MD. By using the site, you agree to them. They’re short on purpose.

What we sell

Stacks are digital buying guides. When you buy one, you get access to the current version of that guide and every future revision of it. A purchase is a single-user license: it’s for you, not for republishing, reselling, or pasting into your company wiki. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s terms as well.

Refunds

If a Stack wasn’t useful to you, email hello@tastytech.com within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund it, no interrogation. We’d rather refund $19 than keep money from someone we didn’t help.

Our recommendations

Everything on this site is an opinion — a considered, tested, strongly held opinion, but an opinion. Products change, firmware updates ruin good things, and your needs may differ from ours. We are not responsible for purchasing decisions you make based on our recommendations, and we make no warranties about third-party products we recommend. Nobody pays for placement on the menu — picks are chosen before any link is attached.

Affiliate disclosure

Tasty Tech is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Order links on the free weekly menu and inside paid Stacks may be affiliate-tagged, and as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through them. The tag adds nothing to your price, and the $19 for a Stack buys the written decision, not the links — picks are locked before any link is attached. Every pick also links to the maker’s own page, untagged.

The site itself

The site and its content are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our total liability to you to the amount you’ve paid us in the past twelve months — which, realistically, is $19.

All content on the site — the writing, the picks, the plating — belongs to AK Internet Consulting, Inc.. Quote it with credit; don’t scrape or republish it wholesale.

Housekeeping

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. If we update the terms in a way that matters, we’ll note it here with a new date. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
